In the sunny and quiet hamlet of Ceredo, a few minutes from the nature reserve of Sacro Monte which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, nature trails and just three km from the center of Verbania Intra, we propose a building from ground to sky with adjoining private garden and beautiful lake view.
The property consists of two apartments with balconies, characterized by large windows, stone walls, ceilings with wooden beams and beautiful views from each room. The entrances are independent.
Three rooms duplex apartment. On the ground floor we have a large and bright living room with fireplace and open kitchen, a long balcony, a hallway, a bathroom with shower, and backyard courtyard in the entrance area. An internal stone staircase leads to the sleeping area on the upper floor which consists of two bedrooms both with balcony, hallway, bathroom with shower and small balcony. Very particular are the exposed stone walls.
Two-room apartment. On the second and top floor we have this beautiful attic apartment, consisting of a large living room with open kitchen and balcony, bedroom, hallway, bathroom with shower and closet. The apartment is cozy and characterized by an exposed wooden ceiling and some natural stone walls, as well as a beautiful lake view.
Finally, in the basement there is an old cellar with fireplace, vaulted ceiling in the original state and in front of it a nice little garden with lake view.
The apartments have both been recently restored maintaining the charm of the old houses; they have independent heating and are immediately habitable.
In the immediate vicinity there is a public car park.
The property is in excellent condition and, thanks to the privileged and sunny position, the lake view, the tranquility of the place but also the proximity of Verbania, is suitable as a holiday home or for tourist investment.
Ceredo is an ancient nucleus, characterized by narrow streets that wind through the old stone houses, many of which have been well restored. The village is completely south-west facing and is sunny all year round and surrounded by nature and tranquillity. It is only 2 km from the centre of Ghiffa and three km from the beautiful and lively town of Verbania-Intra.
Ghiffa is a village of about 2000 inhabitants located between lake and mountain, on a small promontory with fabulous views of Lake Maggiore. It is only two kilometres from Verbania and 15 kilometres from the Swiss border and Ascona. The very mild climate, the richness of the spontaneous vegetation and the polychromy of the gardens that surround the many villas, make a very pleasant stay in this country.
Ghiffa is rich in culture and history. To see the many churches rich in fifteenth-sixteenth-century frescoes, the Museum of the Art of the Hat and especially the Natural Reserve of the Sacred Mount of the Holy Trinity of Ghiffa. The surface of the Reserve is entirely covered with woods, with the exception of the Baroque monumental complex that rises on the Sacred Mount, where there are the Sanctuary dedicated to the Holy Trinity, three chapels and the portico of the Via Crucis
In summer, there are plenty of sporting and volleyball events on the lake.
